SAEE EASTERN CAPE BRANCH - Home of the Green Hour radio programme



Introduction

The Southern African Association for Energy Efficiency (SAEE) has launched a pilot project in the Eastern Cape to fly the energy efficiency flag in the region. With the backing of 10 years of successful information dissemination, awareness creation, and energy engineering training in the industry, the Association is embarking on its second decade of ensuring that credible information is communicated countrywide.

The SAEE Eastern Cape Branch aims to host events for commercial and industrial organisations and individuals in the industry to network and gain knowledge from the topics discussed.

What is Green Hour?

Starting a national conversation about energy efficiency

The Southern African Association for Energy Efficiency (SAEE) has joined forces with Gareth Burley, a radio presenter on Kingfisher FM in Nelson Mandela Bay, in starting a national conversation about energy efficiency. Dubbed The Green Hour, this energy efficiency radio programme will be hosted by Gareth on Mondays between 1 and 2pm and was launched on the 4th of July 2011.
